This activity is perfect for a quick noun review in small groups, centers, or one-on-one tutoring. Elementary students of various needs can benefit from this activity, including ESL students, SPED students, 1st graders, and 2nd graders.

Directions: 

• Print pages 2-5 in either color or in black and white.

• Laminate for extra durability.

• Cut out along the lines

• Place top 4 cards at the top of the table. 

• Have the student(s) sort each word card into the correct category.

• For extra practice, have students sort the word cards into two piles, proper nouns and common nouns.
